We have expanded our space by separating our mat class venue from our studio for private/semi-private lessons. We have also added a Reformer so we can now accommodate Reformer Trios.
We have redecorated our private studio and spread out the equipment so there is now a beautiful open space for our "boutique" Pilates offering for Solo, Duet and Trio lessons. Practicing Pilates in our Studio is a pleasure. The space is totally private, quiet, sunny, clean and modern. In this intimate, serene space with state of the art apparatus and amenities, guided by our teaching staff of the highest quality teachers, a select community of like-minded women have gathered to practice the most popular and valuable rehabilitation and conditioning exercise program of this generation. This is a unique and highly personalized experience.
We have a new mat classroom in a designated space in the main building of our Center with its own entrance to the left of the center entrance. A bright space with air conditioning in the summer and a heated floor in the winter, it accommodates 7 students. The slightly smaller classes allow for closer personal attention than our previous combined space.
Lisa
Carusone who joined us last summer is teaching two days this year. Her
classes have "flow" and her style is very
professional, yet upbeat with a wry sense of humor. Her specialty
is Pilates for equestrians. She is Certified in Power
Pilates on the Advanced Level.
She takes private students on Tuesday afternoons and evenings and instructs the Friday Advanced Class and private students.
Our fabulous new instructor, Melissa Hoch!

She also branched out into the Polestar method, developed by Physical Therapists to embrace a more rehabilitative approach to her teaching style. As a believer in cross training, her background includes experience in all forms of exercise from Yoga to Gyrotonics. She has training and experiene working with all levels of physical conditions including pregnancies, rehabilitation and mild disease patients, as well as with sports enthusiasts and fitness students.
Erin Joyce joined us in September for the Monday Pilates Stretch class and a Saturday Mixed Level class. Erin is a Stott Method instructor who has been teaching for four years. Her degree is in dance which she teaches in other venues. Her teaching style mixes gentle and challenging Pilates exercises with lots of extra stretching on Mondays. Her classes have good flow, vary every week and make use of props and accessories as teaching aids. She is a sweet gal with a very encouraging teaching style.
